    Marilyn Carmona

Dr. Marilyn Carmona is a doctor of chiropractic and a health and wellness expert, as well as a “doctor” of self discovery and empowerment. She has dedicated her life to ongoing natural, alternative healing as well as personal development work and studies.

Her passion and mission is to help and teach you with effective, simple, and safe, as well as natural, holistic, and cutting edge healing and energetic modalities and techniques. Her goal is to empower you to be your best self, and live a long, healthy and vibrant, as well as joyful and abundant life.

Dr. Carmona has served thousands of patients and clients in the last 30 plus years in her private practice. She is now expanding her work to reach others globally with her expert knowledge and experience, and her innovative assessment tools and teachings. Dr. Carmona has offered a 90-day program she created called “Naturally Healthy and Slimmer”, and an online course called “Healthy Aligned Body Mind”. She also teaches live empowering hands-on workshops and events including the “Wealthy Mind Transformation.”

Dr. Carmona established her private chirorpractic practice in 1984 in San Mateo, CA. She holds a specialized degree, and certifications in chiropractic orthopedics and neurology obtained in 1988 and 2000 both of which required a minimum of 360 additional classroom hours of continuing education.

She has trained in multiple areas in the field of chiropractic, including advanced nutritional testing and evaluation which she provides through her office. More recently, in 2013 she became a certified Level One Rock Tape Practitioner.  She uses Rock Taping regularly in her practice with great results.

Dr. Carmona’s neurological background as well as lifelong interest in the topic prompted her to become a certified handwriting consultant in 1996 through the Intergral Institute of Handwriting Studies and Master Alphabetician, Vimila Rodgers.  The basis of this empowering work is: change your writing, change your brain, and therefore, change your life. She has lectured on this topic, as well as taught courses and worked with individual clients over the years.

Following surgery in 2006 and not being able perform her chiropractic work for an extended period of time, she began extensive training in the fields of NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming),  hypnosis and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), primarily through the NLP and Coaching Institute with Tim and Kris Hallbom, world renowed trainers, and authors. She has over the last several years assisted and coordinated their trainings at the most advanced levels, including the Master and Health Certification courses, and advanced hypnosis training.

Additionally, through the NLP and Coaching Institute she is a certified Wealthy Mind TM trainer and a Dynamic Spin Release TM Trainer and has taught these courses as well.

Dr. Carmona is  level two trained in the Emotional Freedom technique (EFT) and uses EFT with many of her clients for quick and profound change work.

Dr. Carmona studied in 2011 with Jo Dunning to become a Quick Pulse practiioner.  This technique provides gentle energetic clearing.

In 2012, she completed a course of study with world renowed Master Hand Analyst Pamelah Landers to learn about the neurological patterns and maps in our hands that tells us what makes us uniquely who we are.

In 2013 she was trained and certified by Jaap Hollander as one of a small, but growing group of professionals in the United States using the Mindsonar TM online assessment tool which is the first contextual  psycological measure that “gets to the heart of your thinking.”

Most recently she became an Access Consciousness Bars and Energetic Facelift Practitioner.

Dr. Carmona uses any and all of these tools and techniques, and more to help those whom she serves either individually, or in her course offerings.  She creates an “open door” environment for her patients and clients through the work that she does with her open mind, heart and hands.  She is truly a “hands-on-kind-of-gal”.  Many of the healing and self-development assessment tools and techniques she uses and teaches, literally are using her own and her patient’s/client’s hands to discover what they are all about, and to help them identify and attain their highest health, or other life goals.

Dr. Carmona loves to empower you, by literally putting the tools for transformation in your own hands!

  • An Apple a Day . . .

What is so good about an apple? Is it the color, ranging from ruby red to pale pink? Is it the crunch? The sweetness? Or is it, instead, a combination of all of these qualities, plus the natural goodness derived from the apple's secret ingredients — phytonutrients? If this were a multiple choice quiz, the answer would be "all of the above". Importantly, in addition to possessing numerous appealing physical qualities, apples contain an abundance of health-promoting biochemicals known as phytonutrients.1,2 These specific organic molecules are derived not only from apples but many other fresh fruits and vegetables, and help power the immune system, protect against cancer, maintain healthy eyes, and assist cells in clearing out metabolic waste products such as free radicals. ...
